Who We Are?
Noor Ali Memorial Society is a registered non-profit, nongovernment organization based in Sundarban region established in the year of 1996 with a view to undertake relief, rehabilitation and empowering the underprivileged & vulnerable section of the society, through provision of awareness building on different issues, Institutional care, Right based campaign, Skill development Vocational Training, Disaster Risk Mitigation Programme. Noor Ali Memorial Society also runs shelter homes for the destitute boy’s children in need of care & protection and another home for risk boys like traffic victims. Our focus areas of operation are Child Protection through Institutional & Non Institutional services, Anti Human trafficking action, Child education, Livelihood development, Water & Community health,
The overall goals of the organization is to strengthen the empowerment process of women, children and other vulnerable community of coastal backward Sundarban region through community mobilization, education, care, protection, vocational training and livelihood development and thus equip the target community to be self-sufficient in all respects

Our Presence
- 250 backward villages under 50 Gram Panchayat of 18 Blocks in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
- 60 backward villages under 20 Gram Panchayat of 3 Blocks in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal
- Land & Building: Three acre of land along with 5 big buildings [3 storied & 2 storied]. Approx. 50000 sq fit building area. Running one residential shelter Homes for the CNCP & destitute children and accommodation available for 150 boys.
- Training Hall: 2 no training hall where 200 trainees can be accommodated.
- Guest rooms: Three separate guest rooms.
- Training Machineries & Equipment: Lap top, Projector, Board, Charts, Posters and resource materials collected from different Government and Non-Government Institutions as well as materials prepared by the Society. Equipment like Sewing machines, soft toys making tools, Zari Craft tools, sports equipment etc.

- Every year on an average 250 to 300 nos CNCP boys provides residential shelter and around 95% of them restore to their family safely.
- 100 Children supported through holistic education annually, including nutrition food and mainstream them into formal schooling.
- Running primary schools [From one to four standard] with average 40 student strength in each class
- Running pre primary schools with average 30 student strength each Class
- Formed and strengthen 20 Village Level Child Protection Committee.
- Formation & Strengthen 110 Women Groups
- Campaign and Training on Right to Education Act.
- Rescued 40 missing boys and women during last 3 years.
- Empowered 5,000 marginalized women with power of knowledge and capacity of securing rights from 106 villages under 24 GP of 3 Blocks in South 24 Parganas District.
- Coverage 112 village and 42 schools through Save Village: Anti Human Trafficking initiative
- Total 1100 poor and tribal women received skill training on need based different trades and around 87% of them maintain their livelihood using these skills.
- 650 tribal women and Tiger widows benefit from skill training.
